Couple of weeks ago
Kvadrat brochure landed on my desk at work. What surprised me was not only simplicity of editorial, but most of all the way the fabrics have been presented.
It is very hard to show textiles in the right way on online swatches or paper editorials.
You can never tell the real textures and cannot be sure about the colours till samples arrive.
Shots presented in this little book were totally different- surprisingly simple and honest, not loosing anything from the richness of textiles.

Kvadrat always inspires me- this Danish brand is creative and fresh. Collaboration with artists, architects and designers (to mention at least Tord Boontje, Patricia Urquila or Paul Smith) makes it innovative and constantly changing.
I love pastel collections of Skyline, Divina and Messenger.
They some much in the current trend of pastel hair and latest collection of
Ghost chair by Phillipe Starck launched by Kartell.
I have used some of Kvadrat pastel textiles for my recent designs.
