I was looking for perfect candle holders for my sprayed candles and found these!

I have tried a little DIY with simple candles and a spray paint,

remember to keep the distance while holding candle to avoid drips,

I think this will work in any colour

I have some interesting things to look forward to.

First of all almost complete 1st phase of our home modernization

and already started to get excited about the big changes on the ground floor.

What you think about combining studio with dining room? 

We are looking for super long (over 3 meters) piece which would act as a working bench for me and on the special occasions would transform into dining table to entertain guests in a "creative space".

I received fantastic commission for my graphic so now going through sweet sleepless nights working on it like crazy. To all of that I will join the crew on Hope Street Festival in Liverpool on 16th September.

Small room big bed little boy

Samuel's room is finally finished! 

We still have some decoration and accessorising to do, 

but I couldn't wait to show the result of Tony's hard work! 

We managed to create spacious boy bedroom with funky bunk bed in room as small as 2.1m x 3.4m with lots of storage

At the back of the room Tony build large bunk bed with two storage boxes on wheels. 

Ae opened the ceiling to give impression of space  

and installed floating panel over the bed 

(lights which you can turned down work brilliant at the bed time).

Everything is painted white which gives amazing light and freshness.

In the future when Sam is big enough to move to the spacious loft, 

part of this room (currently hosting wardrobe) 

will be converted to shower room with glass wall and sliding door. 

The rest of the space will be used as library/ study/ day bed/ guest sleeping zone.

I have been getting rid of colour this week...

We are have decided to stay at home while my husband is refurbishing our house - 

well yes it is messy and tiring but it also helps us rethink some design decisions, 

practice living and get the feel for the space.

lounge is also working as a dining room, 

large box from antique store works well as coffee table,

we painted white strip on old parquet floor for cleaner look

black painted chimney breast disguises all imperfections in cracked walls

There is so many things we are doing different, 

because we know how we using our spaces.... 

....also so many things we are doing more than once...

walls everywhere filled with inspirational shots and dimension notes

What I just realised is that we are now living con temporary life in our home.

 Non of the spaces are how we want them to be when finished, 

but it doesn't stop us to have a bit of fun, 

decorate to make them feel more ours. 

We are experimenting with bold colours 

and solutions we would never try in other circumstances.
