pretty things

as our home is finally coming together its time to accessorize!

Jack Black by Tom Dixon is fantastic I picked it up on a flash sale

looks so great in white room and Samuel uses Mr Black as a slide

box was a great fun to- we used it to paint over and as a small house- just a bonus :)

I found this amazing cowhide rug by Carl Hansen at Utility store

this beautiful ceramic piece is by Stefan Evans - great textile and ceramic designer who actually does million of other things,

I picked it up at the Hope Street Festival

find the beauty in chaos: plaster love

it got to the point when my lovely house is in a great mess so to cheer myself up I was just taking shots of the creation/ building process

Samuel's old bedroom looked so monochrome with walls and floors splashed with plaster and all this decoration gear

it will be great to look at all these pictures one day sitting in a clean living room wearing clean socks :)

home transformation

we are right in the middle of refurbishment ,

which now got to the state when "almost" everything is ready and waiting for final decoration

our home reveals scruffy textures, pealing paint, bare floor boards and accidental holes

all of this is worth documenting as we finally have the feeling that its coming together

layers of different paint finish accumulated through decades by different owners

should we keep it?

this is my favourite fireplace in the house
(especially for Little Paper Crane )

Cardboard Concept is a cardboard furniture manufacturer who is just opening its UK division. This young company mixes creative vibe, flexibility of material and eco approach to design with free spirit.
